upgrade to new version? what is the procedure?

hi *,

i just wanted to know what the process is for upgrading to a new version? is there possibility for upgrading inline or must the programm and its user/partner base always be installed from scratch?

Chris, Under windows you

Chris,

Under windows you could just run the installer and overwrite the old version. The server has a database update mechanism and will modify the m-e-c as2 database to the required version (incremental). The database is not touched by the installer.

Under linux you have to change/replace the required jars manually and then start the server. The db update will run automatically.
